NSW: Police union told another week before pay offer is ready

The New South Wales government will need another week to finalise its pay offer for
the state's 14,000 police.

The NSW Industrial Relations Commission has heard there's been highly constructive
negotiations between unions, the government and the NSW Police Service over the pay package.

But after a 30 minute private conference with the three parties, IRC president FREDERICK
WRIGHT said a formal offer could not be put to the union's executive today.
