NSW: Property confirmed destroyed at Medlow Bath
Rural Fire Service Commissioner PHIL KOPERBERG says at least one home is confirmeddestroyed at Medlow Bath in the New South Wales Blue Mountains.
He's told the Nine Network another residence has been destroyed or severely damaged.
Mr KOPERBERG says the second property appears to be close to the Hydro Majestic Hotel.
He says conditions in the Blue Mountains are beginning to stabilise and should easeconsiderably by 7pm (AEDT).
Eleven aircraft, including a helitanker, and dozens of ground crew are fighting thefire at the back of the historic hotel.
